If I had to rate my energy level right now on a scale of 1-10, I would be at a 16! Every day this week I’ve popped out of bed excited to start the day and find out what this new day is going to bring. I’m excited about my life, and it feels great. Like something I want to shout from the rooftops, mostly so that you can hear me and feel what I’m feeling too.

Believe it or not, less than 2 years ago this was a dream of mine: to wake up happy, energetic and excited to start the day in my shoes. BAM!
I didn’t take a magic pill or go see a wise man who told me what to do.
I became the ACTIVE CREATOR of my life. I dug deep to find out who I was, what I needed and wanted, and figured out how I would do the most good for myself and others (that’s called Creating The Great Life, my friend).
More on that another day. What I really wanted to share is the thing in my life that’s giving me THE MOST energy right now, and that’s GRATITUDE.
Gratitude is a beautiful emotion that embodies feelings of appreciation, acknowledgment, joy, blessings and much more. Gratitude is the emotion that’s signals to the universe, “Hey! I know where I am and I’m thankful.” The “universe” (or call it what you want) rewards our recognition and consciousness of ourselves.
TIP: Make a list of all of the things in your life that you are grateful for (it’s sort of like having that Thanksgiving feeling minus the ‘food coma’ all year long!). To get you going think about the most important things in your life and idenitify what you are grateful for, including yourself. Post this list in sight near your office or workspace for an extra boost. BONUS: Create a daily reminder that is in sight when you first wake-up, near your bed or in the bathroom. Something that symbolizes gratitude for you and will serve as your morning reminder. See the post, My Daily Reminder, below for ideas.
